Broadcasting is regulated by National Telecom Regulatory Authority – NTRA (الجهاز القومي لتنظيم الاتصالات). Currently there are 96 AM and 163 FM radio stations in Egypt, most of them part of ERTU and few private FM stations. Primary language on radio is Arabic.
